Everette Street – Water Main Repair
Halifax Water crews are on-site undertaking an emergency water main repair near 44 Everette Street, Dartmouth. Water service in the area may be temporarily shut down. No estimate of service restoration time.
There are no anticipated traffic impacts.
Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. To learn more about discoloured water and to report it, please visit www.halifaxwater.ca/discoloured-water.
Traffic Advisory – Windmill Road
Beginning on May 22 and continuing until approximately June 3, Harbour Construction on behalf of Halifax Water will complete stormwater system maintenance along Windmill Road, Dartmouth.
The following traffic impacts will be in place
Friday May 22:
- Starting at 12:00 PM, the entrance to Farrell Street via Windmill Road will be closed.
May 23 to June 3:
Windmill Road – Stormwater System Maintenance
UPDATE May 8, 2026: Please note the work on Windmill Road from Middle Street to Farrell Street, Dartmouth, will continue until approximately June 5, 2026. There will be an altered centre line in the work zone. Two-way traffic will be maintained.
Beginning on March 9th and continuing until approximately May 11th, Harbour Construction on behalf of Halifax Water will complete a wastewater system maintenance along Windmill Road, Dartmouth.
