Inglewood Drive – Water Main Repair
Halifax Water crews are on-site undertaking an emergency water main repair near 5830 Inglewood Drive, Halifax. Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area. No estimate of service restoration time.
Inglewood Drive will be open to local traffic only. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.

Plymouth Road – Water Main Repair
Halifax Water crews are on-site undertaking an emergency water main repair near 4 Plymouth Road, Dartmouth. No estimate of service restoration time.
There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open.

Traffic Advisory – Windmill Road
From June 7 to June 8 (weather dependent), Eastern Trenchless, on behalf of Halifax Water, will be undertaking wastewater system maintenance through cure-in-place-pipe (CIPP) trenchless lining technology near the intersection of Windmill Road and Dundee Lane, Dartmouth.
This work will take place from:
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 7.
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 8.
There will be a lane reduction on Windmill Road between Wright Avenue and Lynch Estates Court. Two-way traffic will be maintained, and there will be no impact on Halifax Water services in the area.
Traffic Advisory – Canal Street
Beginning on Tuesday, February 18, until approximately June 2025, Dexter Construction, on behalf of the Halifax Regional Municipality and Halifax Water, will be completing recapitalization and elevation changes on Canal Street.
The following traffic control plans will be in place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until June 2025:
