Attention motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, Atlantic Road Construction and Paving (ARCP), on behalf of Halifax Water will be undertaking asphalt reinstatement work on Lucasville Road Tuesday, November 26th and Wednesday, November 27th.
This work will require stop and go traffic Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Lucasville Road from First Street to approximately 1400 Lucasville Road, weather permitting. See the attached work zone map. Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow through the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
