Water service has been extended to the community of Fall River through a project by the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund (CWWF) program. The CWWF Program is funded by Infrastructure Canada and the Province of Nova Scotia. A portion of the project is funded through a Local Improvement Charge (LIC) administered by the Halifax Regional Municipality.
The new water services installed as part of Phases One and Two of the Fall River Water Main Extension Project are now operational. Home owners located within the Phase One area (Fall River Road, McPherson Road, and Lockview Road to the High School; and Phase Two area (Highway #2 from Fall River Road to approximately 3009 Highway #2, and Ingram Drive to Fall River Road) can now make an application to connect to the water system. See map for service areas.
