Halifax Water crews will be undertaking a water main repair beginning in the morning on Thursday, March 28th. Work will take place on Windsor Street near the intersection of the Windsor Street exchange.
This work will require the closure of the two outbound left turn lanes of Windsor Street onto the Bedford Highway. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Hours of work will be 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
