Wildwood Boulevard – Water Valve Installation

This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.

Beginning at 8:00 AM on Thursday, September 24th and continuing until approximately 4:00PM on Tuesday, September 29, Dexter Construction on behalf of Halifax Water will be on-site installing a water valve near 3 Wildwood Boulevard, Dartmouth. 

This work may result in low water pressure throughout portions of Dartmouth, Cole Harbour and Westphal. See map for impacted area.

The following traffic impacts will be in place beginning at 8:00 AM on Friday, September 25th: 

  • Langon Drive will be open to local traffic only
  • Wildwood Boulevard will be open to local traffic only
  • Mount Edward Road from Ridgecrest Drive to Wildwood Boulevard will be open to local traffic only
  • There will be detours in place

Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.

Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. To learn more about discoloured water and to report it, please visit www.halifaxwater.ca/discoloured-water.

Customer in the area may also experience construction related noise during the overnight portion of the work.
