This work will take place Saturday from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM and will require a lane closure where the off-ramp of the Macdonald Bridge passes under the bridge on the Halifax side. Stop & go traffic will be in place. The bike lane will remain open with traffic control in place. See the attached work zone map.

There will be no loss of water service during this work.

As a result of this work, some residents may experience reduced water pressure and/or temporarily discoloured water. Residents can check the on-line interactive map below to see if they’re in the low pressure or temporarily discoloured areas. To learn more about discoloured water, visit www.halifaxwater.ca/discoloured-water.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
