Halifax Water crews have isolated the water main leak caused by a third party. Customers in South End and Downtown Halifax should see water pressure/water service return to normal shortly.

Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. To learn more about discoloured water and to report it, please visit www.halifaxwater.ca/discoloured-water.

Halifax Water crews are responding to an emergency water main repair near Cogswell Street, Halifax. Customers in South End and Downtown Halifax may experience changes in water pressure, temporary loss of water service, or discoloured water. Crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to isolate the leak to restore service to customers in these areas.
