Halifax Water will bring its Beaver Bank Reservoir back into service beginning tomorrow, December 17. For the past several months, this reservoir has undergone significant upgrades.
As this infrastructure is brought back online, customers in the Beaver Bank area could potentially experience a stronger smell or taste of chlorine. This is a result of the disinfection process of the reservoir in order ensure safe drinking water for our customers. See attached map for the impacted area.
