Halifax Water crews will perform hydrant flow testing throughout the Aerotech Business Park and Halifax Stanfield International Airport area from November 3 to November 5, 2026. This work will take place daily between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Due to the high flows associated with this testing, customers in the area may experience:
- Temporary low water pressure.
- Fluctuations in water pressure.
- Brief interruptions in water service.
- Discoloured water caused by sediment being disturbed within the water distribution system. Customers experiencing discoloured water are advised to run the cold water at one faucet until the water runs clear.
