Attention motorists and pedestrians, Halifax Water crews are on-site undertaking water main repairs on Russell Street in Halifax.
This work is taking place near 5540 Russell Street. There will be stop and go traffic on Russell Street between Gottingen Street and Isleville Street. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
There is no estimate of service restoration at this time.
Traffic control personnel are on-site to assist in the safe and timely movement of local traffic and pedestrians through the work zone. Motorists should expect delays. Motorists are reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
