Attention motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, Halifax Water crews will be undertaking wastewater (sewer) system maintenance in the intersection of Victoria Road and Woodland Avenue tomorrow (Friday, December 13, 2019).
Hours of work will be 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM. Traffic lights in the intersection will be shut down and traffic control personnel will be on-site. There will be stop and go traffic in work zone. See attached work zone map. Sidewalks will remain open.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
There will be no loss of water, wastewater or stormwater services as a result of this work.
