UPDATE: PLEASE NOTE THIS WORK HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
From 7:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, to 6:00 AM on Monday, June 8, Harbour Construction, on behalf of Halifax Water, will complete stormwater system maintenance on Windmill Road, Dartmouth. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
The following traffic impacts will be in place for the duration of this work:
- Windmill Road between Middle Street and Nivens Street will be open to local traffic only.
- Farrell Street between Windmill Road and Catherine Street will be open to local traffic only.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
