From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, December 12, Halifax Water crews will conduct required stormwater system maintenance on Willow Street, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Access to Willow Street from Agricola Street will be closed. Detours will be in place, and experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flow. Sidewalks within the work zone will be closed.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
