From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 25, crews will be replacing a wastewater lateral near 22 Sussex Street, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Sussex Street between Old Sambro Road and Kidston Road will be open to local traffic only. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Detours will be in place. Sidewalks remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
