UPDATE: To complete these urgent repairs, this work will continue until approximately 7:00 PM this evening.
From 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 30, Halifax Water crews will be on-site undertaking manhole maintenance in the intersection of Sackville Drive and Beaver Bank Road, Lower Sackville.
Lane reductions will be in place through this intersection. Two-way traffic will be maintained on both roads during this work. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
