From 6:00 PM this evening, to 7:00 AM on Wednesday, January 14, WSP on behalf of Halifax Water will be performing geotechnical investigation work at the following locations between Robie Street and Agricola Street, Halifax.
During this work period there will be stop-and-go traffic on:
- Demone Street between Robie Street and Agricola Street
- Russell Street between Robie Street and Agricola Street
- Macara Street between Robie Street and Agricola Street
- Bilby Street between Robie Street and Agricola Street
- Almon Street between Robie and Agricola (After 10 PM)
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
