From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 4, Halifax Water crews will be on-site to replace a water valve at the intersection of Merson Avenue and Normandy Drive, Halifax. Water service in the area will be temporarily shut down during this work.
There is stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
