From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM today, Halifax Water crews will be working to repair a water valve near 96 Main Avenue, Halifax.
There will be stop-and-go traffic near the intersection of Main Avenue and Birch Street. The south sidewalk on Main Avenue will be closed in the work zone.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
