Halifax Water crews are working to replace a water service lateral on Kingswood Drive, Hammonds Plains.
Kingswood Drive is closed between Hammonds Plains Road and Terradore Lane. Detours are in place.
This work is expected to be complete by midnight tonight.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
