Halifax Water is advising motorists and pedestrians that from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on August 19-20, there will be lane reductions on Joseph Howe Drive, Halifax, between Dutch Village Road and Scot Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained during this work.
There will be pedestrian detours in place around closed sections of sidewalks.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
