From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 12, Halifax Water crews will be performing wastewater system maintenance on sections of Chebucto Road and Mumford Road, Halifax. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
The following traffic impacts will be in place for the duration of this work:
- There will be a lane reduction on Chebucto Road between MacDonald Street and Phillip Street, Halifax.
- There will be a lane reduction between 6981 Mumford Road and Romans Avenue, Halifax.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Two-way traffic will be maintained, and sidewalks will remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
