From 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Friday, August 27, Halifax Water crews will be undertaking wastewater system maintenance work on Barrington Street between Harvey Street and South Street, Halifax.
This section of Barrington Street will be closed. There will be a marked detour in place around this area. Sidewalks will remain open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
