From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 17, Halifax Water crews will be on-site working to replace a water service lateral near 6379 Almon Street, Halifax.
There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone and through the intersection of Almon Street and Oxford Street. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. The sidewalk near this work is closed.
This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
