Beginning on Monday, March 23, CBCL on behalf of Halifax Water will be completing geotechnical investigation work on St. Margarets Bay Road between Prospect Road and Dunbrack Street (through Albert Walker Drive). This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area. This work is expected to be completed by March 30.
- On-street work will be limited to 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Off-street work will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, daily.
There will be lane reductions in the work zone during on-street work. Two-way traffic will be maintained. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
