Attention motorists and cyclists, tomorrow, March 11th, 2020, Halifax Water crews will be repairing a water lateral near 52 Silverside Drive, Waverley. As a result of this work, Silverside Drive will be closed in the work zone (see attached map), a detour will be in place, and experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site.
This work will take place from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
There will be no loss to water, wastewater, or stormwater services to the surrounding properties as a result of this work.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
