Halifax Water crews will be undertaking water system maintenance activities tomorrow (Saturday, April 6th) on Robie Street near the intersection of Bilby Street.
Lane closures will be in place on Robie Street near Bilby Street from 4:00 PM Saturday, April 6th until 5:00 AM Sunday, April 7th. Traffic will be reduced to one inbound lane and one outbound lane (see work zone map). The sidewalk in the work zone will be closed.
During this work water, service to some customers will be interrupted. Impacted have been notified.
After work is completed some customers may experience temporary discoloured water. Halifax Water recommends that customers experiencing discoloured water avoid using the water for direct consumption purposes until the water is clear. The water remains safe for showering, bathing, cleaning and flushing toilets. Run cold water taps until the internal plumbing is clear.
