Attention motorists and pedestrians, as part of the Coburg Road Infrastructure Upgrades Project, work will be taking place at the intersection of Coburg Road and Oxford Street tomorrow, May 7th.
Work is scheduled to take place from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, weather permitting. There will be stop and go traffic in the work zone. Traffic lights in the intersection will be shutdown.
Experienced traffic control will be on-site to direct traffic through the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
