Halifax Water crews are on-site repairing a water main on the Old Sackville Road, behind 52 Sackville Drive.
Customers on Old Sackville Road from civic 20 - 232 are currently without water service. It is estimated water service will be restored at approximately 5:00 PM and the road fully reopened approximately 8:00 PM.
There will be one lane stop and go traffic in the work zone on Old Sackville Road.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
