Halifax Water will be undertaking stormwater system maintenance tomorrow (Wednesday) on Ochterloney Street in Dartmouth.
This work will require the closure of Ochterloney Street between Alderney Drive and Edward Street Wednesday from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM. See the attached work zone map. Sidewalks will remain open in the work zone with traffic control personnel assisting pedestrians.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.
