Halifax Water crews will be performing wastewater system maintenance throughout the community of North Preston beginning Wednesday, March 4. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.
Typical working hours for this project will be 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, for approximately 6-8 weeks.
There will be stop-and-go traffic and some streets may be open to local traffic only as crews progress throughout the area. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
