Halifax Water will be undertaking a wastewater lateral replacement tomorrow (Tuesday, December 15) near 12 Mowat Crescent in Lower Sackville.
This work will require the closure of Mowat Crescent between Chandler Drive and Kings Road to all but local traffic from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday, December 15. Pedestrian access will be maintained. See the attached work zone map.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.
