Construction is currently underway at the Mount Edward Reservoir site, located at 157 Mount Edward Road, Dartmouth, and will continue through December 2027.
The project includes demolition of the existing concrete reservoir and the construction of a new steel reservoir. Please refer to the attached map for the full project area.
Mount Edward Road and the adjacent sidewalk will remain open throughout the project. However, occasional lane closures will be required to accommodate material deliveries. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on site to safely manage traffic flow.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
Halifax Water services will be maintained during this work.
