Halifax Water crews are on-site repairing a water main in the intersection of Micmac Boulevard and Glen Manor Drive in Dartmouth.
Traffic flow is reduced in the intersection. Water service is out in the area of Glen Manor Drive, Brookdale Crescent, Edenbank Terrace, Empress Court, Brookdale Court, Garden Court Terrace, Lakeshore Park Terrace and Lakemist Court. It is estimated water service will be restored at approximately 7:30PM. Sidewalks remain open.
Experienced traffic control personnel are on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
