Halifax Water will be undertaking scheduled wastewater system maintenance today (Tuesday, September 8th) near 48 Margaret Road in Spryfield.
This work will take place from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Margaret Road will be closed to all traffic near civic#48. There will local traffic only access on Margaret Road between Cowie Hill Road and Withrod Drive. Pedestrian access will be maintained. There will be no loss of municipal services.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.
