Attention motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, Atlantic Road Construction and Paving (ARCP), on behalf of Halifax Water will be undertaking asphalt reinstatement work on Lucasville Road tomorrow (Friday, November 22nd).
This work will require stop and go traffic on Lucasville Road from First Street to Salto Drive tomorrow (Friday) from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM. See the attached work zone map. Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained. Further asphalt reinstatement work will take place on Lucasville Road in the near future as weather conditions permit.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow through the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
