Halifax Water crews will be undertaking a scheduled water main repair beginning in the morning on Saturday, February 9th near 3331 Joseph Howe Drive and the intersection of the Bicentennial Highway.
There will be a lane drop in the outbound curb lane work zone near 3331 Joseph Howe Drive. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Hours of work will be 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
