Halifax Water crews will be undertaking hydrant maintenance tomorrow (Thursday, April 8th) on the Bedford Highway.
This work will require a lane drop in the outbound lane near 1611 Bedford Highway from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The sidewalk in the work zone will be closed. There will be no loss of water service.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
