Attention motorists and pedestrians, tomorrow, Saturday, October 19, 2019, Halifax Water will be conducting maintenance on the wastewater (sewer) system near 1332 Hollis Street.
This work will require the reduction in the width of Hollis Street near the work zone. Vehicles will still have the ability to drive past the work zone.
This work will also require the closure of the sidewalk in front of and near 1332 Hollis Street. The sidewalk on the opposite side of Hollis Street will remain open.
This work is scheduled to take place between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 19th, weather permitting.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
Wastewater service will be unavailable during this work at the address of 1332 Hollis Street. There will be no other loss of water, stormwater, or wastewater service as a result of this work.
