Highway 2 (Waverley Road) – Culvert Replacement

Beginning on September 2nd and continuing until September 26th, Atlantic Road Construction and Paving on behalf of Halifax Water will complete a culvert replacement near 2774 Highway 2, Waverley.

The following traffic control will be in place 24/7. 

• September 2nd to September 8th 
  • Local access only on Highway 2 (Waverley Road) between the intersection of Rocky Lake Drive and the Fall River Roundabout.

The following traffic control will be in place Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM only:

• September 9th to September 26th 
  • Stop-and-go traffic on Highway 2 (Waverley Road) between the intersection of Rocky Lake Drive and the Fall River Roundabout. 

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. 

Halifax Water services will be maintained during this work.
