Halifax Water crews are currently on-site repairing a water main near 670 Herring Cove Road, near Woodcrest Avenue in Spryfield.
Customers from 670 Herring Cove Road to Herring Cove Village will experience no water service or low pressure during the repair. There is currently no estimated repair time.
This work will require stop and go traffic on Woodcrest Avenue until the repair is complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
