(Friday, July 17, 2020) – Halifax Water will be undertaking scheduled water and wastewater system maintenance Monday, July 20th on Gladstone Street in Halifax.
This work will take place on Gladstone Street between Almon Street and Windsor Terrace from 9:00 AM – approximately 7:00 PM Monday, July 20th. There will be local traffic only access, via Almon Street. See the attached work zone map. The sidewalk in the work zone will be open. Water service will be shut down to some properties in the work zone. Affected properties have been notified.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.
