Halifax Water crews are on-site repairing a water main on Downs Avenue in Halifax.
Water service out for customers on Downs Avenue between Milson Street and Winter Street. There is one lane stop and go traffic in the work zone near 111 Downs Avenue. Sidewalks in the work zone remain open. No estimate of water service restoration at this time.
Experienced traffic control personnel are on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
