Halifax Water crews will be undertaking a scheduled water service lateral replacement near 22 Dartmouth Road in Bedford, tomorrow (Tuesday, December 15).
This work will require a lane drop with an altered centre line near 22 Dartmouth Road from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday, December 15. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Sidewalks in the work zone will remain open. See the attached work zone map.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.
