Dartmouth Area – Wastewater Infrastructure Repair

UPDATE:

Halifax Water has completed a critical wastewater infrastructure repair in the Dartmouth area. The wastewater system has returned to normal operations.



Customers in the Dartmouth area, including Burnside, Albro Lake, Woodside, Russell Lake, Portland Estates, Woodlawn, and Westphal, can resume normal water and wastewater use.

From 3:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Monday, July 17 (weather dependent), Halifax Water will be undertaking a critical wastewater infrastructure repair in the Dartmouth area. This includes Burnside, Albro Lake, Woodside, Russell Lake, Portland Estates, Woodlawn, and Westphal.

 

To reduce pressure on the wastewater system during this critical infrastructure repair, we are asking customers to reduce wastewater flows in the areas shown (see attached map). Please reduce running water, flushing toilets, or doing laundry during this time.
