As part of planned water and wastewater (sewer) system upgrades on Oxford Street and Coburg Road, Dexter Construction, on behalf of Halifax Water will require the temporary closure of the trail between Connrose Avenue and Coburg Road.
The trail will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists from Monday, April 29th to Friday, May 3rd for the construction of a temporary road and trail related to the Coburg Road Infrastructure Upgrades. The trail will re-open to pedestrians and cyclists by the end of day Friday, May 3rd (see attached work zone map).
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone. On-site personnel will maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.
