Attention motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, tomorrow (Thursday, September 10th) Ocean Contractors, on behalf of Halifax Water, will be completing paving work on Cobequid Road.
There will be lane drops in place in the outbound lanes of Cobequid Road going toward the intersection of Cobequid Road and Glendale Avenue from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. See the attached map.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow throughout the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
There will be no loss of water, wastewater or stormwater services.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.
