Atlantic Road Construction and Paving, on behalf of Halifax Water will be undertaking wastewater system maintenance on Chisholm Avenue in Halifax beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, June 23).
This work will require stop and go traffic near 6715 Chisholm Avenue, Tuesday, June 23 – Wednesday, June 24, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (see attached map.) Pedestrian access will be maintained. There will be no loss of services.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
For the safety of work crews and residents, please maintain social/physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres/6 feet.
