From 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, June 22, G&R Kelly on behalf of Halifax Water will be performing a water lateral renewal near 6930 Chebucto Road, Halifax. Impacted water service customers have been notified of this work in advance.
Chebucto Road from Sherwood Street to Mumford Road will be open to local traffic only. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks within the work zone will be closed.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
