Dexter Construction on behalf of Halifax Water is currently completing upgrades to the water transmission main along Chebucto Road and Newton Avenue.
During this portion of the project, the following traffic control will be in place:
Friday, August 22nd from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Local traffic only on Newton Avenue from Chebucto Road to 4th Street
- Right lane closure on Connaught Ave inbound
Monday, August 25th from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Local traffic only on Berlin Ave from Connaught Ave to Connolly Street
- Alternating lane closure on Connaught Avenue Outbound
Tuesday, August 26th from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Alternating lane closure on Connaught Avenue Inbound & Outbound
Wednesday, August 27th from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Right and middle lane closures on Chebucto Road Inbound
- Local traffic only on Berlin Ave from Connaught Ave to Connolly Street

Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
